Investor sentiment in the Eurozone deteriorated more than expected at the beginning of September

The Sentix survey showed that the investor sentiment index in the eurozone fell to -21.5 points at the beginning of September from -18.9 in August, below the forecast of -20.0 in September.

The sub-index of future expectations in the eurozone fell to -21.0 points in September from -17.3 in August, and the current situation index fell to -22.0 points in September, the lowest level since November 2022.

Sentix said, "The situation in Germany remains particularly precarious. Germany also weighs heavily on the economy in the eurozone as a whole. The tipping point for a global recession is less distant than one might imagine. The complete lack of economic competence in political leadership and the enormous uncertainty surrounding The economic crisis caused by the energy and electricity crisis is dragging the German economy deeper and deeper into recession.
