Speaker of the US House of Representatives supports Joe Biden for the presidency

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi endorsed Joe Biden for the presidency and has joined the list of top Democrats to support the former vice president since he emerged as the party's presumed candidate for President Donald Trump in the November 3 election.

Pelosi cited Biden's experience in government, including his role in passing the Affordable Care Act as evidence of his leadership qualities, and said Biden was well positioned to lead the country amid the outbreak of coronavirus Covid 19.

Pelosi said in her support: "At the time we face in the coronavirus, the atmosphere of voice of reason and flexibility with a clear path to get us out of this crisis has come," and the support comes at the right time for Biden, who has struggled to maintain a high position during the pandemic.
