Zuckerberg: Facebook is stronger than other technology companies in free speech

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said today that his company is more committed to freedom of expression than other technology companies after Twitter faced a negative response from the White House over a tweet to verify the tweets of US President Donald Trump.

"We think it will not be right for us to check facts for politicians," Zuckerberg said in an interview with Fox New Channel.

Zuckerberg made an effort to keep his company out of Twitter and its battle with US President Donald Trump after the White House moved to repeal a law protecting social media companies, stating that unlike Twitter, Facebook is using outsourcing to verify the truth to media partners and says it does not take any position on its own.
