Wall Street recorded its worst week since March

US stocks rose today after falling yesterday, but the three major indicators recorded sharp losses during the week, to close for the worst week since March after the Federal Reserve's poor expectations and fears of a recurrence of the coronaryvirus pandemic.

The Dow Jones industrial average rose 477.37 points, or 1.9% to 25,605.54 points, and the S&P 500 rose 39.21 points, or 1.31%, to 3,041.31 points, while the Nasdaq Composite Index rose 96.08 points, 1.01% to 9588.81 points.

Over the course of the week, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 5.6%, the Standard & Poor's 500 Index fell 4.8% and the Nasdaq Composite Index fell 2.3%, the largest weekly decline for the three indicators since the week ending March 20
