Nasdaq closes to a new record

The three major US equity indices rose today, to close the Nasdaq composite index at a new record amid hopes for a coronavirus vaccine with support for technology companies in addition to the results of the second quarter.

Shares of (HAL.N) increased by 2.5%, shares of (NBL.O) increased by 5.4%, shares of (TSLA.O) for the electric car industry increased by 9.5%, and shares of (IBM.N) increased by more than 5% .

The Dow Jones industrial average rose 8.92 points, or 0.03%, to 26,680.87 points. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index rose 27.11 points, or 0.84%, to 3,251.84 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index jumped 263.90 points, or 2.51%, to 10767.09 points.
