Gold Rises to highest level in more than a week
Gold prices rose today by 1% to their highest level in more than a week, as gold jumped by more than 26% since the beginning of this year so far with optimism about another US stimulus package for the Corona virus before the US presidential election.
The price of spot gold rose by 1.1% to 1926.76 dollars an ounce, after hitting its highest level since October 12, and US gold futures rose by 0.8% to 1931.10 dollars an ounce.
As for other precious metals, silver rose 1.9% to $ 25.10 an ounce, and platinum rose 1.8% to $ 886.45 an ounce, and palladium also rose 0.2% to $ 2,403.48 an ounce.
