US stocks are down with a record high in Coronavirus cases

US stocks fell today, as the Standard & Poor's 500 Index recorded its biggest daily decline in four weeks, with a record high in new cases of coronavirus, as the United States, Russia and France set daily records of Corona virus infection.

The energy sector declined by 3.47%, with oil dropping by more than 3%, the airline index fell by 5.6%, the index of cruise lines operating companies decreased by 8.66%, and shares of software company Oracle fell by 4.02%.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 650.19 points, or 2.29%, to 27,685.38 points, the Standard & Poor's 500 Index fell by 64.42 points, or 1.86% to 3,400.97 points, and the Nasdaq Composite Index also fell 189.35 points, or 1.64%, to 11,358.94 points.
