Industrial activity in the euro zone slows down in November
Data released by the Markt Corporation today showed that the manufacturing PMI in the euro zone fell to 53.8 points in November, compared to 54.8 points in October, and analysts had expected industrial activity to reach 53.6 points in November. The future production index rose to 64.8 points in November from 62.7 points in October, its highest level since March 2018, while the composite PMI production index declined to 55.3 in November from 58.4 in October. China's manufacturing PMI rose to 54.9 points in November compared to 53.6 points in October, the highest level since November 2010. Industrial activity in Japan also increased, and industrial activity in South Korea rose to the highest level since February 2011.
