Gold hits its first weekly decline in three weeks
Gold prices rose slightly today with the decline of the US dollar, but recorded weekly losses after three weeks of gains supported by gains in global stocks and the main dollar index fell 0.1% to 92.73.
Spot gold rose 0.3% to $ 1732.11 an ounce, but recorded weekly losses of 0.8% this week, and US gold futures rose 0.4% to $ 1732.30 an ounce. As for the other precious metals, silver fell by 0.1% to $ 24.99 an ounce, while palladium rose 2.1% to $ 2,663.73 an ounce, and platinum rose 2.4% to $ 1174.26 an ounce.
