الإسترليني يتراجع دون مستوى 1.39 دولار

The pound fell against the US dollar, falling below the $1.39 level, to record its worst week since September 2020 after the Fed indicated that it would raise interest rates sooner than expected.

The Office for National Statistics said that Britain's retail sales fell 1.4% in May, and on an annual basis, retail sales rose 24.6% in the twelve months to May. The pound fell against the US dollar by 0.3% to $1.3816, after hitting its lowest level since May 3 at $1.3815, and the pound fell against the euro by 0.4% to 85.855 pence.
