US import prices fell for the fifth consecutive month in November

Basic import prices excluding fuel and food declined by 0.6% in November compared to 0.1% in October, imported capital goods prices increased by 0.1% while imported consumer goods excluding automobiles declined by 0.2%.
Export prices declined by 0.3% in November after declining by 0.4% in October. On an annual basis, export prices increased by 6.3% in November, the smallest rise since February 2021, after rising by 7.4% in October.
